Do you know how often a business should be posting on social media?
Three times a day? Five times a week? Once every other day?
The answer is all of the above, as long as your audience is engaging and your frequency is consistent.
Have you ever followed or liked a page and then unfollowed/unliked, within a few days, because it took over your timeline with content you didn’t find useful or captivating?
Have you ever expected more from a page and found yourself waiting and waiting for new content to appear, to the point that you forget all about the company?
Your followers expect you to show up. They’ve invested time and maybe money in your company at the point of following you, so it really is the least you can do.
Posting on social media doesn’t have a set of ‘one size fits all’ rules. You need to understand your audience and give them what they’re expecting. This sounds like a lot of pressure but it can easily be managed with a plan.
A Social Media content calendar is a good place to start.
